LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday extended the remand of 13 suspects in the Kasur child abuse scandal. The suspects Amir, Akhtar, Sherazi, Yahya, Ubaidur Rehman and others were produced before the court in tight security on Tuesday. Police requested the court to extend their remand by 30 days to recover memory cards, mobile phones and CDs containing pornographic videos. The suspects told the court that they had been implicated in false cases at the behest of their rivals. The complainant’s counsel said that they had sexually abused several boys and blackmailed them after filming the assaults. The court extended their remand for seven days.
