The golden jubilee of Pakistan Defence Day was celebrated with great fervour in memory of the 1965 war heroes who defended the motherland.

Celebrations for Defence Day started with a 31-gun salute in the federal capital and 21-gun salute in provincial capitals.

In Karachi, the day started with the change of guard ceremony at Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum where contingents of cadets of PAF assumed charge.
