CNG stations in Sindh and Balochistan will remain closed for one-day starting midday on Friday.
This schedule will be followed each week here on. The decision for the one day a week closure has been made during a meeting of Senate's standing committee for petroleum and natural resources and representatives of CNG organisations.
Participants at the meeting were told that gas saved from a day of loadshedding will be provided to the KESC for the production of an additional 30 megawatts of electricity.
