Android Wear, which is likely to cost from between $100 to $400, offers numerous designs, enabling customers to find a watch that fits their style.
"Want a round watch with a more classic look? Prefer a different watch band? How about changing things up every day with watch faces from artists and designers?
With Android Wear you can do all of that. And now, Android Wear watches work with iPhones," Google's blog stated.
From what it seems, Google has its very own version of 'Siri'. All you have to say is “Ok Google” to ask questions like “Is it going to rain in London tomorrow?”
With this invention you don't have to pull the phone out of your pocket for each notification, it is as simple as glancing at your watch for the time.
Among several other features, the watch offers to bring some helpful information straight to your wrist:
1. Get your information at a glance
Check important information like phone calls, messages, and notifications from your favourite apps.
2. Follow your fitness
Set fitness goals, and get daily and weekly views of your progress. Your watch automatically tracks walking and running and even measures your heart rate.
3. Save time with smart help
Receive timely tips like when to leave for appointments, current traffic information, and flight status. You can also create to-dos with “Remind me to pack an umbrella.”
Android Wear for iOS was launched on Monday and is already going viral on social media websites. Further, the app is not just available on the latest iPhones but is accessible on the iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6, or 6 Plus running iOS 8.2+
