Both culprits were identified as Shafqat Ali Rohdini alias Naveed and Muhammad Ibrahim alias Shah Jee

"They want to destabalise Pakistan by fueling terrorism in Balochistan. They wanted to put all the blame on security forces and secrete agencies," Bugti said of the culprits.

He went on and claimed that these culprits also aimed to target Mama Qadir, vice chairman of Baloch Missing Persons (VFBMP), JUI-F Senator Hafiz Hamdullah and other political and social figures.

According to SHO Bijli Road police station, two armed men barged into the office of the agency and opened fire on the people inside. Senior journalist Mastoi, trainee reporter Abdul Rasul and an accountant Mohammed Younus were shot and all died on the spot following the attack.
