Targeted: Lawyer shot dead by unknown assailants

KARACHI: A former joint secretary of the Karachi Bar Association was shot dead in an act of targeted killing in Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Friday evening. Ameer Haider, 48, son of Syed Altaf, was returning to his home from the City Courts, along with his clerk, Shahid, when three armed motorcyclists targeted and killed him near Civic Centre. He was shot multiple times and died shortly after the incident.
