PARACHINAR: A man was killed while eight others were injured in a road accident near a grid station in Parachinar. Two vehicles collided with each when one heading to Parachinar overtook the other. The driver failed to apply brakes effectively and both the cars rammed into each other, killing a passenger instantly. People from the neighbourhood rushed the injured to Agency Headquarters Hospital Parachinar. An FIR was registered. Further investigation is under way.
