Arson: Five houses, mosque gutted

MANSEHRA: Unidentified men set ablaze to five houses and a mosque in Siryala Munda Gucha village, police said on Wednesday. According to a police official, a councillor-elect Qari Zarin and his brother Ramzan were gunned down and the case was registered against their rivals - Waliur Rehamn, Sadiq, Ghazi and Rasheed - who also happen to be the owners of the houses. Ever since the case was filed, the accused were on the run. On Tuesday evening, unidentified men set their houses to fire. The flames also engulfed the village mosque. After hours of firefighting, the locals were able to put out the inferno. Police registered a case and started investigation.
