LAHORE: A 17-year-old girl was killed for ‘honour’ by her brother on Sunday. Her uncle Aurangzeb filed a complaint with the Shalimar police against her brother Muhammad Abid, 21. Police said Rimsha, the victim, lived in Madhu Laal Hussain Mohalla with her family. On Sunday, her brother accused her of having loose morals and exchanged harsh words with her. He then slashed her throat and fled. Police said that her family took her to a hospital where doctors pronounced her dead. The body was taken to a morgue for autopsy. Police said they were looking for Abid.
