Enforcing the law: Police arrest nine alleged militants
CTD incharge said that the arrested militants are affiliated with the Khan Zaman Mehsud faction of the TTP
KARACHI:
The counter-terrorism department (CTD) claims to have arrested at least nine members of a banned militant outfit on Sunday. CTD officials said that the arrests were made during two separate raids in SITE and Korangi areas on a tip-off. The CTD incharge, Khurram Waris, said that the arrested militants are affiliated with the Khan Zaman Mehsud faction of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and that weapons were also seized from their possession. The suspects were identified as Naimatullah, Abdullah Jan, Sher Wali, Saeedullah, Samiullah, Amjad Khan, Bilal Khan, Irshad and Imran Khan.
