Pakistan has become a go-to destination for adventurers; HONY stunned people worldwide with touching stories from our locals, and Mike Horn followed suit with his scenic videos of the Northern areas.

"I often get asked why do I want to travel to Pakistan," says the Swiss explorer. And he had the perfect answer to this question.

Uploading a breathtaking 2-minute video on his Facebook page, Mike Horn dazzled his followers with scenic images of the Northern areas, explaining exactly why he loved Pakistan:


He even uploaded a picture of the Pakistani flag, calling us 'perfect hosts':

The South African-born adventurer had his hopes set on climbing the second highest highest peak in the world, K2. But due to unforeseen weather conditions his expedition came to an abrupt halt and he was soon forced to pack his bags and head back to Switzerland.

He even uploaded their trek up the mountain, as far as they could go:


While his expedition did not go as planned, his journey was spectacular, he uploaded videos of his travels from Switzerland to Pakistan leaving viewers in awe.

Traveling for 60 days, passing through 13 countries, Mike shows us his trip in a short video:

While they couldn't stop admiring the spectacular view and uploaded several videos of K2, these boys did take out time to absorb the culture of Pakistan and enjoyed every minute of it:
