Crackdown: Militant killed, three held in Balochistan

QUETTA: An alleged Baloch insurgent was killed and another arrested in two separate search operations in Turbat and Dera Bugti, while Taliban militant was captured from Killa Abdullah district on Thursday.

According to the Frontier Corps Balochistan spokesman a militant was killed in exchange of fire during a search operation in Tallar area of Turbat town.

In another combing operation carried out in Dera Bugti, FC arrested an insurgent of the banned Baloch Republican Army (BRA).

Meanwhile, police and FC arrested a commander of banned organisation from the Qambrani Road in Quetta. Separately, an alleged militant of TTP was arrested from Killa Abdullah district during a raid carried out by paramilitary troops and sleuths of an intelligence agency carried in the main Killa Abullah Bazar.
