This was stated in a handout issued on Tuesday. According to the document, the decision was taken at a meeting, which was chaired by Minister for Health Shahram Tarakai.

It was also decided that monitoring teams would be constituted with technical people who will visit all the DHQ hospitals in their respective divisions and collect data of deficiency of staff, equipment and other facilities there.

Matters were also discussed regarding the recruitment of staff against vacancies in hospitals.

According to the handout, participants at the meeting also decided to send a summary to the chief minister, demanding sufficient funds for DHQ hospitals so that medical equipment could be repaired.
