LAHORE: The alleged custodial  death of a suspect in the Kasur child abuse scandal led to a protest by his family members on Sunday. They blocked Lahore’s Ferozpur Road for nearly four hours for traffic. They chanted slogans against the police, alleging that the victim, Muhammad Shafi, 58, was abducted by police a few days ago. Adnan, a nephew of the deceased, claimed that on August 14 night, police came with Shafi at their home and asked him to take a bath, change his clothes and come with them on his motorbike. The following day, they received a call from Kasur police that a man, riding a bike, has died in an accident on Ferozpur Road, he added.
