Uncertified meat: Butcher gets bail

LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Sunday granted bail to a butcher caught allegedly selling meat not certified fit for sale by the Livestock department. Earlier, Factory Area police produced the butcher, Dilawar Hussain, before the magisterial court where he furnished bail bonds of Rs30,000. The FIR registered against him under Clause A,B of the Slaughter Act mentioned that he was selling meat not certified by the Livestock department.
