Voicing concerns: Victimisation has begun, says Babak

PESHAWAR:

Awami National Party Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa leader Sardar Hussain Babak has termed the accountability institutions’ arrest tactics as victimisation of opposition parties.

In a press statement issued on Saturday, Babak said these institutions and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have adopted a “Taliban-like behaviour towards ANP”. He said, “They should know we did not bow down to the militants and we will not succumb to such victimisation.” Babak said the methods of these institutions are partial, unfair and insulting. “Around 30 writ petitions have been filed against the Ehtesab Commission at the high court. The list submitted by EC in the courts did not have the name of a single ANP leader.”
