Judge’s Murder: Suspects sent on judicial remand

Police recently arrested the suspects and announced it in a press conference conducted by the regional police officer

RAWALPINDI: Three men suspected of killing Additional District and Sessions Judge Tahir Khan Niazi have been sent to Adiala Jail on judicial remand till August 29. Civil Judge Irtaash directed that Rashid alias Chaand, Fayyaz alias Mansha and Amir Bhatti be sent for identification parade to the jail. The police recently arrested the suspects and announced it in a press conference conducted by the regional police officer. An official said all three suspects are Christians, and that Bhatti is a resident of Daska, Sialkot while the rest belong from Lahore. The judge further directed that the three suspects should be produced by the police to obtain a physical remand once the identification parade is complete.
