Balochistan Trouble: Turbat blast leaves soldier dead

QUETTA: At least one soldier was killed and five others injured in an explosion in Turbat district of Balochistan on Friday. According to security sources, the explosion occurred near a security forces’ vehicle in the Kech Korandi area of Turbat. “One soldier lost his life in the explosion while five others were injured.” Earlier, law enforcement agency in the restive province’s Zhob district foiled a bid for a terrorist attack planned to disrupt Independence Day celebrations in the country.
