Happy holidays: Christmas trees put up around the city

CDA installs 12 Christmas trees at different points of the city.

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) installed 12 Christmas trees at different points of the city. The CDA Chairperson Imtiaz Inayat Elahi said on Wednesday that the civic body would make all-out efforts for the welfare of its Christian employees. He was addressing a ceremony arranged by CDA Labour Union here at its Sanitation Directorate in connection with Christmas and New Year. A large number of Christians participated in the function.

Elahi also announced bonus for all Christian employees of CDA. He stressed on the need to promote interfaith harmony to ensure peaceful co-existence for all. The chairperson highlighted the role of Christians in the development of the city and also assured CDA workers that their housing related problems would be soled on a priority basis.
