Promoting cooperation: SAARC Trade Fair to be in December

            The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is organising the 12th Saarc Trade Fair 2015 and Wexnet 2015 together at the Expo Centre Lahore. According to a TDAP spokesman, it will be a mega event that will provide a unique opportunity to Pakistani exporters and export houses to showcase their products. Exhibitors from Saarc member countries and women entrepreneurs from Pakistan will also participate in the fairs by displaying their products including textile goods, leather garments, footwear, handicrafts, gift items, food products, pharmaceuticals, jewellery, furniture, cutlery, sports goods, carpets, marble and granite. On-the-spot sale has also been allowed to make it more productive and attract maximum visitors. The fee has been worked out at Rs10,000 for Lahore participants and Rs5,000 for those coming from other cities.
