Patriotic fervour: JI to hold ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ rally

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has decided to hold ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ rally on August 9 to mark the Independence Day celebrations and to boost nationalism among citizens. JI Pakistan amir Senator Sirajul Haq will lead the rally that will commence from NIPA Chowrangi and culminate at Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s mausoleum. In this regard, promotional camps have been established at several points across the metropolis. JI Karachi chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman inaugurated the central camp at NIPA on Friday and distributed national flags among the passersby and commuters. JI has decided to celebrate the independence with patriotic fervour, he said. We aim to unite the Pakistani youth against our enemies, he added.
