Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will officially visit the Republic of Belarus on August 10 where he will sign a number of agreements, The Express Tribune has learnt.
According to PM House, the Premier Nawaz on Wednesday chaired a meeting to review cooperation with Belarus in the areas of trade, investment, agriculture and defence production with regard to his upcoming two-day visit to the ex-Soviet republic famous in Pakistan due to its tractors.
Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastgir, Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanvir Hussain, Minister for National Food Security Sikandar Hayat Bosan, Chairman Board of Investment Mifta Ismail and Special Assistant To PM Tariq Fatemi briefed the premier in their respective areas.
PM Nawaz was informed about the various Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed in the public and private sector during the visit of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to Pakistan in May.
Chairman BOI briefed the prime minister about the deals expected to be signed during his visit to Belarus.
