Apcea event: Gem and jewellery show concludes

            A three-day gems and jewellery show organised by All Pakistan Commercial Exporters Association (APCEA) concluded on Sunday. The event showcased the best of country’s gemstones and mineral specimens displayed by exhibitors from across the country. Commerce Secretary Muhammad Shahzad Arbab appreciated the efforts of the company and acknowledged that such an exhibition will go a long way in developing the gemstone sector of the country. Chairman of the Exhibition Dost Muhammad Khan told APP that APCEA had for the first time organised such an exhibition. He added that the gems and jewellery exhibition was an effort to support the economy of the country, besides highlighting the importance of the gems industry. Dost Muhammad said that Pakistan was home to over 270 varieties of precious stones.
