Prosecutor General NAB Waqas Qadeer Dar informed the apex court on Friday that IAM system will be based on the receipt of complaints from general public, violation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and observations of the courts.
Secretary Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan (LJCP) Sarwar Khan also told the top court that the accountability bureau will complete the task of developing the case data mechanism as per direction of the SC by August 30.
The NAB has also shared its Value Chain Analysis (VCA) to improve the performance. It says that chain of NAB operation starts with the registration of complaint.
The regional NAB offices are in the process of entering data by creating user accounts for the concerned regional offices which will be completed by August 30. The status of each cases seized with the NAB will be available on the bureau’s website with the click of one button, the court was informed.
The cases relating to causing loss to the national exchequer, the prosecutor general informed the court, by misappropriating funds or through misusing official authority have been divided into three categories starting from cases involving misappropriation of Rs50 million, Rs500 million and those in which the misappropriated amount runs in billion.
