KARACHI:

Federal law and information minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that all political parties have agreed on one point—that no criminal associated with any group would be spared in ongoing targeted operation in Karachi.

This statement was made while talking to reporters after attending a meeting of the law and justice commission convened to consider new appointments and confirm additional judges of the SHC.

The federal minister maintained that peace is being restored in Karachi, which is now turning back into a vibrant city, where businesses are flourishing.

Pervaiz Rashid said everyone had rendered sacrifices to rid the country of the menace of terrorism. To a question on the findings of the judicial commission in polls rigging case, the Pakistan Muslim League-N leader said his party’s leaders would have left the government had the PTI’s allegations been proven during the inquiry.
