A man was killed in a hit-and-run incident on GT Road in Wah Saddar on Thursday.
Eyewitness Muhammad Saqib told the local police that a speeding dumper truck (GZR-2494), driven by an unidentified man, hit the victim while he was crossing the road near Sharif Hospital.
He was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The police have registered a case against the driver but have not yet arrested him.
