Deadly accident: 3 die, 5 injured in van-truck collision

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Three people died and five were injured in a traffic accident in Dera Ghazi Khan on Tuesday. According to Rescue 1122, a passenger van was involved in a collision with two trucks. “The van hit the rear of a truck due to over-speeding on Multan Road near Pull Daat. A truck following it also rammed the van. All the van passengers were seriously injured in the accident,” the rescue official said. He said that three of them, Umair Sawan, Faheemul Haq and Masood, had died on the spot. “Muhammad Naeem, Mazhar, Usman, Kaleem and Faisal have been hospitalised with serious injuries,” he said. The truck drivers fled.
