ISLAMABAD: A Hajj complaint cell mandated to promptly resolve grievances of intending pilgrims from the private Hajj scheme, will start working round the clock from today (Saturday). According to an official of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, the cell will receive suggestions from Hujjaj to facilitate them. Intending pilgrims can register their complaints in Pakistan on 042-111 72 5425 and on 0800-116 66222 in Saudi Arabia, or online at www.cms.gov.pk. The ministry has advised intending Hujjaj to ink agreements only with registered Hajj group organisers (HGOs). The list of such HGOs is available at the website of the ministry. Each HGO has been directed to deposit cash performance guarantee with the ministry against their each of their Hajj clients. A feedback form would soon be activated at the website of the ministry at www.hajjinfo.org.
