LAHORE: Fifteen people held by Ghalib Market police for smoking sheesha at a café were acquitted by a judicial magistrate on Tuesday and an FIR registered in the incident discharged over the police’s failure to submit before the court a notification banning sheesha smoking in public places. The FIR had stated that smoking of sheesha in public places was prohibited under Section 144 of the PPC.
