Anti-dengue campaign: Fogging to be carried out in three UCs

Under supervision 165 teams continue special anti-dengue campaign during the Eid holidays in 11 UCs

RAWALPINDI: A decision has been taken to carry out fogging in three high-risk union councils (UCs) of Rawalpindi after mosquito larva was found there. Under the supervision of EDO Health Dr Nasir, District Health Officer Dr Tahir and District Supervisor Meharban Khan, 165 teams continued the special anti-dengue campaign during the Eid holidays in 11 UCs, which were declared highly sensitive. The areas included Ratta Amral, Dhoke Ratta, Hazara Colony, Dhoke Hassu, Bangash Colony, Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, Dhoke Naju, F-Block, Eid Gah, Dhoke Dalal and Akal Garh. Among these UCs, larva was found in Dhoke Hassu, RA Bazaar and Dhoke Naju.
