HYDERABAD: As many as 900 congregations of Eidul Fitr will be held in Hyderabad district, including 60 large ones, in which tens of thousands of people are expected to gather to offer the Eid prayer. Up to 2,000 policemen, 200 police commandos and 300 volunteers, besides an unspecified number of Rangers personnel, will provide security. The police will also monitor the large congregations at Eidgah Qasimabad, Eidgah Cantt, Qadam Gah Moula Ali and other mosques with the help of closed circuit television cameras.
