ISLAMABAD:


A woman and her daughter were robbed of cash and jewellery and a car and a motorcycle were stolen during the last 24 hours.


In the first incident, Nabeel Faisal lodged a complaint with the Sabzi Mandi police stating that four armed robbers intercepted his wife and daughter outside their house in Sector I-10/4 and snatched jewellery, cash and other valuables worth Rs600,000.


Meanwhile, Muhammad Ayub lodged a complaint with the same police stating that auto-thieves had stolen his Toyota Corolla (LWH-0349) from the porch of his house. Moreover, Mehmood Afzal lodged a complaint with the police stating that his motorcycle (JMK-5487) had been stolen from outside his house in Sector I-10/1.


The police registered separate cases under the relevant laws but have made no arrests or recoveries so far.
