Intercepted : Five drug smugglers held

RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotic Force (ANF) has seized drugs in various operations in the twin cities. During the operations, it also arrested drug traffickers and impounded vehicles. The ANF detained Muhammad Shehbaz, a resident of Khushab, at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport and seized heroin-filled capsules from his toamch. The suspect was traveling to Riyadh by an Oman Airlines flight. Meanwhile, on a tip-off, the ANF team intercepted a car near Committee Chowk and seized 2kg of hashish from Rizwan Aslam and Arsalam Khan. The same team intercepted Muhammad Adil near Taxila Museum and seized 1.200kgs of hashish from his possession. The ANF airport team apprehended a passenger, Siraj, a resident of Kohistan, and heroin-filled capsules from stomach. He was intending to travel to Dubai via a private flight.
