PM expected to meet Saudi royal family during his visit

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif performed Umrah after reaching Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

Upon his arrival at the Jeddah airport, the prime minister was received by officials of the Pakistani Embassy in Jeddah.

He also also met Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz.

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan enjoy close brotherly and strategic relations. Both countries have cooperated with each other in times of crisis and have focused on strengthening trade ties.

In April, Nawaz and army chief General Raheel Sharif had visited Saudia for a day.

Upon their arrival, the delegation was received by Prince Mohammad bin Nayef Al-Saud, deputy crown prince and minister for interior, Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al-Saud and defence minister at the airport.

The MNA from NA-56 was needed in Peshawar then but he chose to lay the foundation of his "NAYA KHANDAAN."
