Man arrested for assaulting boy

FAISALABAD:

Police on Saturday arrested a man suspected of assaulting a boy in Tandlianwala City area.

Naveed Haidar told police in his complaint that his 18-yer-old nephew was standing in the street when a neighbour invited him to his house.

He said the boy was taken to a deserted house where he was assaulted. He said the neighbour later fled.

The Tandlianwala City SHO said police had registered an FIR under Section 377 of the Pakistan Penal Code. He said a police team had raided the neighbourhood and had arrested the suspected. The SHO said further action would be taken after the medico-legal report was available.
