The Lahore General Hospital (LGH) administration said on Saturday that doctors, nurses and other staff will be on duty during Eid holidays.

The hospital’s out patient department (OPD) will remain closed from July 17 to July 21 and its staff will perform duties in the emergency wards, Prof Khalid Mahmood, the LGH principal, said.

He said that all sanitary workers and security guards would remain on duty during the Eid holidays.

“The administration assistant medical superintendent and the nursing superintendent will not be authorised to grant leave of absence to their subordinates during these days,” he said. The principal directed the administrative officials to remain vigilant about security.
