Punjab Chief Minister Shabaz Sharif has issued directives to the Rawalpindi district administration to remain alert to cope with the flooding caused by the ongoing rains.


The chief minister has also directed the flood officers and sanitary staff to pump out stagnant water from low-lying areas of the Rawalpindi city, said a press release issued here on Saturday.
