Resources: ‘Chiniot minerals key to progress’

LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Thursday effective use of mineral reserves in Chiniot-Rajwa would strengthen the economy. Sharif chaired a meeting to review progress on the project to explore iron ore in Chiniot-Rajwa. He said work on the project should be carried out speedily. Earlier, German expert Jurgen Hartsch briefed the chief minister on the project. Minister for Minerals Chaudhry Sher Ali and the secretaries of Minerals, Information and Finance Departments attended the meeting.
