Expansion: Fizagat Park to be revamped

SWAT: The valley’s premium recreational arena – Fizagat Park – will be expanded and provided with basic facilities. The project was inaugurated by Swat District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) Chairman Fazal Hakeem on Sunday. “Amount of Rs14 million has been doled out for the park’s uplift,” said Hakeem. Speaking at the inauguration, Hakeem said the project included expansion of the park, construction of a bridge, planting of trees, a solar-powered illumination system and further beautification. “Several development projects are being undertaken in Mingora which will raise the standard of living in the valley significantly,” he said.
