Station House Officer (SHO) Industrial Police Station Athar Rahseed told The Express Tribune that two unknown armed men riding on a motorcycle opened fire at a welding shop at Sirki Road killing three people.
The attackers managed to escape following the attack.
Police rushed to the spot soon after the incident and cordoned off the area.
The deceased were taken to the Civil Hospital Road Quetta. They were identified as Asad, Waris and Nadir.
“The motive behind attack could not be ascertained as yet, but it could be an act of settlers' targeted killing,” SHO Athar Rasheed told media.
A case has been registered against unknown persons and investigations are under-way.
