Effective Policing: Two police stations inaugurated

Inspector Khalid Mehmud Awan has been appointed as its SHO

Two new police stations-Karachi Company and Shams Colony- were inaugurated in Islamabad on Wednesday with a view to ensure effective policing and address citizens’ complaints on immediate basis. The Islamabad IGP Tahir Alam Khan formally inaugurated the police stations and SP (Saddar) Zone Office in Sector G-10. The jurisdiction of Karachi Company police station will be sectors G-8 and G-9. Inspector Khalid Mehmud Awan has been appointed as its SHO. Inspector Abid Hussain has been appointed SHO of Shams Colony police station. The police station will cover sectors H-12, H-13, I-12, I-13, Shams Colony, CMT Colony, IJP Road and Kashmir Highway.
