The suspect Zubair, who reportedly confessed to having killed at least 13 people, was sector incharge of Karachi's Mehmoodabad area.
Further, during the court session, Rangers said they possessed 'credible information' against the suspect and his involvement in various crimes including target killing, kidnapping, extortion and other terrorism-related activities.

The law enforcement agency arrested Zubair a few days ago from Mehmoodabad area of the metropolis.
Earlier on Monday, ATC-II accepted the bail plea of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Amir Khan, who was under custody on judicial remand.
Further, the ATC directed Amir to pay Rs1 million in surety bonds, adding that he could not leave the country without permission. According to sources, bail was granted to the MQM leader until the next hearing of the case scheduled for July 15.

The court also directed the MQM leader to cooperate with police in the investigation and also restricted him from travelling abroad.
On Saturday, an anti-terrorism court granted physical custody of the alleged killer of MQM central information member Waqas Ali Shah to police for two weeks.
