KARACHI: Sindh chief secretary Muhammad Siddique Memon met on Thursday a team from the World Bank’s association on improving disaster management in Sindh.

The World Bank team comprised disaster risk management senior specialist Haris Khan, programme leader Jaffer Sadok Friaa, senior economist Muhammad Waheed, senior sociologist Dr Shiraz Ali Shah and seismic consultant Dr Sarosh Lodhi.


Memon elaborated the aspects of water supply and sewerage, traffic accidents, power issues, protection of the residents, live stocks in riverine areas and reasonable use of resources.
