Pakistan take note: Gayle, Pietersen attempt to strike down drones

Both batsmen measure the accuracy of their shots in the challenge

KARACHI: The debate around unmanned drones seems endless but hard-hitting cricket stars Kevin Pietersen and Chris Gayle took matters in their own hands.

In a video published on the 2015 Caribbean Premier League T20 website, the right and left hand batting prodigies are seen attempting to bring down a drone camera from the sky

After repetitive tries, guess who wins 'The Drone Down Challenge'.



West Indian Gayle will be representing Jamaica Tallwahs while English Pietersen will be adorning the St Lucia Zouks jersey in the tournament.

A number of Pakistani players are also a part of different franchises in the event. All-rounder Shoaib Malik will be representing the Barbados Tridents while Shahid Afridi and Sohail Tanvir are a part of the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots' line-up.

The Akmal brothers, Umar and Kamran, will also a part of the event. Kamran is part of the Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel team while Umar was signed recently by Guyana Amazon Warriors.
