QUETTA: The Vaccination Act will make it mandatory for schools and seminaries to help vaccinators administer polio-drops to children studying there. The health department of Balochistan has been working on drafting a Vaccination Act for persuasive measures to create awareness regarding the anti-polio drive, spokesperson for the department said on Monday. The statement of health secretary was wrongly interpreted regarding the Polio Vaccination Act. The law is not related to criminalisation of the refusal to vaccinate children or treating the act of parents as a crime, the spokesperson said according to a statement.
