Party disputes: JUI-F still part of govt in Balochistan

QUETTA: JUI-F senior provincial minister and parliamentary leader Maulana Wasey said that JUI-F has not resigned from the Balochistan cabinet. However, if the central leadership asks us to resign then we will act upon it, he said while talking to the media.

“The party has resigned from the central government not from the provincial cabinet. However, if the high command asks us to resign then we, the JUI-F ministers, will resign without any delay,” he said.

Commenting over the sacking of Minister Azam Swati from the cabinet, Wasey said that he had been sacked because he had revealed the corruption of the Hajj operations. His sacking showed that JUI-F was distrusted, he added.

“Azam Swati did not do anything wrong thus the party will stand by him,” he said.
