SC rejects request for re-election in NA-162
Two members of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have already begun campaigning for the party ticket
Supreme Court on Wednesday dismissed the request to conduct re-elections in Punjab's NA 162 constituency, Express News reported.
Headed by Justice Saqib, the court heard that the request to hold elections in the constituency was rejected.
Two members of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have already begun campaigning for the party ticket.

By-elections in the constituency are set to be held on July 5, in which Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is keen to see his party win.
The seat fell vacant after the disqualification of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MNA Rai Hassan Nawaz.
