Twitter suspends account of charity linked to JuD

Account of Falah-e-Insanyat Foundation was suspended by Twitter

The Twitter account of charity Falah-e-Insanyat Foundation, which is linked to Jamaatud-Dawa (JuD), was suspended by the social network.

While no official comments were available from either side, hashtag #bringbackFIF began circulating, with JuD supporters, FIF sympathisers posting images and stories highlighting the organisation’s relief work.

Earlier in December 2014, the official Twitter accounts of JuD and its chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed were suspended by Twitter without any prior warning or notification.

The group blamed India for putting pressure on the micro blogging website to suspend its accounts.

Abu Zakir | 9 years ago | Reply What sense can you make of this move to suspend @FIFPakistan ? No apparent reason. The group does not violate any Twitter rules, unless there is some unwritten rule that forbids bearded ppl from helping others in distress.
