One of the main characters in the fraud case of Belford University, Saleem Qureshi, who handled many things at Axact and who represented himself as responsible for all operations, during a hearing at a US court, has proven to be a fraud himself.

In an interview to the US court, Qureshi claimed that he had no connection with Axact. However, investigations revealed that he was a peon there.

During a hearing at a US court regarding issuance of fake degrees through the so called Belford University, he refused any link with the issue during his statement.

According to a local news channel, an investigative team tried to locate his house at House No. 24, Street D-31, in Block-D of Qayyumabad Karachi, as he had mentioned in his recorded statement. The address provided proved to be false.

However, the team continued its search and finally found his home. His brother stated that Qureshi ended his education at 8th grade. “We have just learnt that the company he worked at was Axact. He was a peon there. He was in Punjab even before that issue was unearthed, but he can be called back, if needed.”
