MUZAFFARABAD: Masood A Sheikh has been appointed as ad-hoc judge of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Supreme Court. Chief Justice Muhammad Azam took oath from Sheikh in the AJK apex court building in Mirpur on Monday. SC judges --- Justice Ibrahim Zai and Justice Raja Saeed Akram --- and others were also present at the ceremony. Meanwhile, AJK Bar Council members boycotted the oath-taking ceremony as well as court proceedings to register their protest against the appointment of new judge on ad-hoc basis. They described it unconstitutional and against the merit.
